G24i Steals the Show at the Inaugural Rushlight Awards

G24 Innovations (G24i) has been recognised as having the greatest potential for 'the largest impact in improving the environment' at the inaugural Rushlight Awards in London. The Cardiff-based company, which produced the world's first commercial grade Dye-Sensitised Thin Film solar cells this year, picked up the evening's headline award - The NESTA Rushlight Award -designed to celebrate the UK and Ireland's 'leading achievement in addressing a key environmental issue in the last two years'.

The company, for whom production marks the commercialisation of over eighteen years of research and development, also picked up the Rushlight Renewable Energy Award which recognises the 'most significant achievement towards the exploitation and adoption of renewable energy sources'.
