He is currently a Guest & Emeritus Professor at the Osaka University’s Center for Advanced Science and Innovation (CASI).
- Trustee of the Association for the Progress of New Chemistry - Japan and a member of both the Japan and American Chemical Society, The Society of Polymer Science, The Japanese Photochemistry Association, The Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry - Japan, The Electrochemical Society of Japan and the International Microwave Power Institute.
